The Problems Of Using Google Adwords In Affiliate Marketing

Tag: Internet Affiliate MarketingStan @ 6:34 am

I don’t know if you’ve had the same bad experience…

I’d lost thousands of dollors each month when I started using Adwords a few years ago…I blame no one but myself…

I was told…
“The biggest well known secret in generating wealth in affiliate marketing or any internet based business or e-commerce is Traffic. Everybody knows it; every site wants it and every site needs it. The point of websites is to be visited and viewed. Many elaborate designs, money and countless hours of developing a site to make them beautiful and attractive are utilized. Without traffic, it is for naught.”

“With traffic comes a potential customer which basically means sales which in turn means profit. While many sites have collapsed in the past with the downturn of many internet based business, many smaller sites have generated good money by concentrating on a certain niche and some sub-niches.”

“This is the reason why e-commerce sites laser target certain groups of people and drive them to their sites to showcase their sites and products. Precision marketing is essential so that you could count on all the traffic on your site as potential customers.”

How?

Using Money to Make Money!

It’s a common business notion that if you want to make money, you have to spend money. One good way of spending money for business gain is through advertising. Advertising brings in the people because through advertising, they know that there is such a company or product in existence. With the right type of advertising, you can see the spurt of traffic growth to your site. With a high volume of traffic, even if only a small portion or percentage turns out to be buying customers it is still a good average of profit generating income.

Right now, there is no other advertising scheme that would be worth every cent than using Google’s Adwords. The surge in popularity of Google’s Adwords is very evident as you can see so many sites sporting this ad scheme.

A little bit about Adwords, if you aren’t familiar with it:

AdWords is Google’s flagship advertising product first introduced in 2003. It offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for both text and banner ads.

In using Google’s Adwords, you pay a certain fee depending on the number of keywords your ad is keyword sensitive to. Each time a person does a search in Google, the keyword or keywords use generate ads in the side of Google which are generated by the keywords they have assigned for their ads.

This method laser targets the traffic a site wants for their site. This also ensures that you are readily visible in the first page of a search result. Paying Google for this ad scheme ensures that your target group of people sees your ads. You drive your laser targeted traffic to your site which provides for their needs and wants. You can also be sure that you can meet their demands and needs.

Aside from Google, you can also be featured in their other search networks, these includes sites like, AskJeeves, AOL Search and Netscape. These sites also show Adwords ads that react to searches done by visitors.
(Please note: There are also content networks, non-search engine sites that feature Google Adwords, which will also carry your ads. But this is subjected to the niche the site features. Your chosen keywords will determine which content network shall feature your ad. The frequency of your ad shall also be determined by your allowed budget.)

So, Adwords is Good (or, PPC is Good):

Because it can generate traffic right away! It’s simple: If you can afford to spend enough, you can get top placement. And your potential customers will see you first. You’ll get “clicks”.

So, using Money to Make Money - Sounds pretty good, right?

But, NO! Unless your “clicks” get converted into “sales”!

I first started my Adwords campaigns back in 2004…By “trial and error”…And I lost thousands of dollars!

- At first, I got no click - I obviously did a lot of things wrong.

- Then I got clicks — Lots of clicks by paying a lot more for each keyword (well, as much as $5.00 per click for certain keywords in order to get to the top 3 or 5 spots)…

But I got no sales! And at best, I got back less than $20 for each $100!

- That went on for more than 6 months (doing Adwords by trial and error) — I lost thousands of dollars each month.

There are a lot more to learn in order that you may come out with an effective Adwords campaign - one that gets clicked and then turned into sales.

Adwords advertising can cost a fortune unless you do it correctly. It’s easy to get caught up in a bidding war over a particular keyword or keyphrase and end up spending far more than your potential.

It took me nearly 12 months to learn some of the tricks to turn my Adwords campaigns from losses to profits. And now, I can easily make at least $60-80 profit for each $100 I put into Adwords consistently!

However, you can avoid those expensive mistakes which I’d personally made — Don’t use the trial-and-error method - It’s too expensive in terms of both money spent and time lost!

Here are what you can do:

1. Learn from Perry Marshall at www.perrymarshall.com.
Sign up for Perry’s “Free 5-Day Adwords Course” or his newsletter at http://www.perrymarshall.com/google/index.htm

Email Marketing Updates: Have You Complied With the New CAN-SPAM Rules Yet?

Tag: eMail MarketingStan @ 12:35 pm

In an earlier posting I wrote about some important changes to the CAN-SPAM regulations would soon take effect…

Yes, The Federal Trade Commission’s latest updates to the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (CAN-SPAM) will become enforceable on July 7, 2008. So, it’s prime time to take a closer look at the updates – and at CAN-SPAM in general.

Some Good News:

- CAN-SPAM terminology is now better defined, giving marketers clearer standards – that’s a baby step in the right direction.

- We know exactly who a “sender” is now.

- The FTC kept the 10-day mandatory opt-out requirement in place after mulling cutting it to three days.

- Nothing in CAN-SPAM will get you in legal trouble if you are sending *permission-based* emails.

- The FTC will not designate additional “aggravated violations.” In other words, it won’t go out of its way to engage in witch hunts.

How To Make a Fortune In Affiliate Marketing

Tag: Internet Affiliate MarketingStan @ 8:07 am

One of the questions newbie marketers ask most often is, “How do I get started? I don’t have a lot of financial resources. I’m just a beginner and I want to start making money online. What would you recommend?”

For me, my reply is always : Go For Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing (selling other people’s products), is by far the best way to make hordes of money online simply, quickly and easily.

The reasons are obvious…

I believe affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to get started making money on the Internet.

Affiliate marketing is nothing more than a partnership…

…You promote other people’s products and services on your web site, on your blog, to your list - and when the visitors you send to them actually buy their product or service, you will get paid a certain percentage of the profit.

So, in a way, you act as a middleman who is selling other people’s products and services to get paid a commission. That’s the easiest way to explain it.

Think about it further…

If you start developing your own products, you have to deal with inventory, fulfillment, customer support and all the things that go with an Internet business and it can be overwhelming, especially if you’re just getting started.

With affiliate marketing, you have none of those headaches to deal with.

That’s why affiliate marketing is such a fantastic way to get started.

Also, with affiliate marketing, you are promoting other people’s products, so it allows you to focus all of your time and effort on one thing and one thing only - the marketing of the product.

You spend the majority of your time to focus on driving traffic to the site of the product that you’re promoting.

To be profitable, pick products and services that have:

- Good quality value

- Good track record

- Attractive commission structures

- High quality web site salespage that converts visitors into customers

Even if you’re just wanting to learn internet marketing and you eventually want to create your own products, affiliate marketing can be a great way to get started and paid to learn!

Some of the best affiliate programs come with great training. Not only can you make money selling their products, but you can learn a tremendous amount about how to create and market your own products.

So, don’t think of affiliate marketing as something to just make a little bit of money.

It can be developed into a serious business - and you can actually make quite a lot of money doing this. It’s definitely a great way to get started.

For anyone that wants to be successful and make money with affiliate marketing, you have to get your hands on:

1% MOLB Wealth - The “anti-guru” $541,839 Clickbank Formula

Tag: ClickBankStan @ 6:14 am

What happens when an ex-army commando soldier takes on the job of exposing the affiliate marketing industry?

….a $541,839 net profit in less than 15 months!

What you are about to see will change everything you have heard or seen!

Click here to view the video that will LITERALLY change the Clickbank affiliate marketing industry.

Scroll half way down and you’ll see the video.

It seems that it had to take a true army commando to do the dirty job of uncovering what the so called gurus have been feeding us for years.

Well, it’s done! It’s finally done.

Alex Edevane, a former army commando, has taken it upon himself to reveal to you the true code of successful Clickbank affiliate marketing. The code our so called guru “friends” have been trying to guard with their lives!

Why is it called The 1% M.O.L.B. Wealth Formula?

Alex explained…

Did you know there is a secret club of rich and powerful Internet marketers who call themselves ‘the one percenters’?

They took their name from the famous outlaw motorcycle club… But, they’re not bikers.

They’re the wealthiest 1% of elite Internet marketers. Some are pioneers of the industry. They still control a majority of the action, and they don’t plan on giving it up.

One of the ways they keep newbies out is by getting you addicted to the idea of earning easy money online, but making it impossible to achieve.

Because…

…as long as you’re chasing the high of Internet riches, you’ll buy anything they’re selling.

The 1% are a powerful group. They hold closed door meetings where everyone in the room, even secretaries, must pledge a vow of secrecy. These meetings decide which products will be developed and who will promote them.

Think about the 3 biggest product launches over the last year. You can connect the names behind them in just 2 degrees of separation.

They all work together to protect their elite status, and if you’re not one of them, don’t wait by your mailbox for an invitation.

If this all sounds like some kind of conspiracy tale, you’re not far off.

I’m not claiming people are mysteriously disappearing. But when you consider how the 1% control more than half of all Internet marketing dollars, (we’re talking billions)… Let’s just say people have been “silenced” for a lot less.

Am I taking a big risk by exposing the 1%?

Sure I am. But let me worry about that.

What’s important here is that you don’t waste any more time and money moving your business in the wrong direction. As I’ve said, it isn’t the promises of making piles of money on the Internet that are false… It’s the systems that are bogus.

The Answer Is The 1% M.O.L.B. Formula…
The title means that you’ll earn like the elite 1% using my Mechanical On Line Blueprint.
When I finally picked the lock that opened the floodgates to Internet wealth… I discovered what separates the 1% from the other 99 is simple “mechanics.”

Alex has agreed not only to share his secret revelation with you but to also show you PROOF that what he discovered is the real deal (in his video).

The question I asked myself when I heard about Alex and his ground breaking discovery was “can the solution… the formula, be that easy to crack?”

The answer simply shocked me. And to be honest, I am a hard guy to convince.

You know, sometimes you look at something for a very long time and although it’s there you simply can’t see it. It might be because of the information overload we are exposed to on a day to day basis, who knows? But the simple fact is, sometimes you can’t see it.

Maybe it takes an army commando to see things others can’t see. Well, be that it as it may, I am thankful that Alex has had the courage and courtesy to share with us what 99% of online marketers are either afraid or simply just not willing to share.

To be honest, it’s not only the 1,000+ bucks affiliate paydays that Alex achieves day in and day out. No. It’s actually the WAY he achieves them. In other words, the code he cracked is what truly amazes me.

You’ll agree with me after reading THIS.

A Checklist for eBay sellers

Tag: eBayStan @ 1:13 am

Being a seller is a lot of responsibility, and sometimes you might feel like you’re not doing everything you should be. This simple checklist will help you keep on top of things.

1. Have you found out everything you possibly could about your items? Try typing their names into a search engine - you might find out something you didn’t know. If someone else is selling the same thing as you, then always try to provide more information about it than they do.

2. Do you monitor the competition? Always keep an eye on how much other items the same as or similar to yours are selling, and what prices they’re being offered at. There’s usually little point in starting a fixed price auction for $100 when someone else is selling the item for $90.

3. Have you got pictures of the items? It’s worth taking the time to photograph your items, especially if you have a digital camera. If you get serious about eBay but don’t have a camera, then you will probably want to invest in one at some point.

4. Are you emailing your sellers? It’s worth sending a brief email when transactions go through: something like a simple “Thank you for buying my item, please let me know when you have sent the payment”. Follow this up with “Thanks for your payment, I have posted your [item name] today”. You will be surprised how many problems you will avoid just by communicating this way.

5. Also, are you checking your emails? Remember that potential buyers can send you email about anything at any time, and not answering these emails will just make them go somewhere else instead of buying from you.

6. Do your item description pages have everything that buyers need to know? If you’re planning to offer international delivery, then it’s good to make a list of the charges to different counties and display it on each auction. If you have any special terms and conditions (for example, if you will give a refund on any item as long as it hasn’t been opened), then you should make sure these are displayed too.

7. Have you been wrapping your items correctly? Your wrapping should be professional for the best impression: use appropriately sized envelopes or parcels, wrap the item in bubble wrap to stop it from getting damaged, and print labels instead of hand-writing addresses. Oh, and always use first class post - don’t be cheap.

8. Do you follow up? It is worth sending out an email a few days after you post an item, saying “Is everything alright with your purchase? I hope you received it and it was as you expected.” This might sound like giving the customer an opportunity to complain, but you should be trying to help your customers, not take their money and run.

Being a really good eBay seller, more than anything else, is about providing genuinely good and honest customer service. That’s the only foolproof way to protect your reputation. Of course, you might be wondering by now whether it’s really worth all the hassle to get a good reputation on eBay. Won’t people buy from you anyway, and couldn’t you just open a new account if it really comes down to that? Stay tuned for more…

Clayton Makepeace - “The Great Copywriting Conspiracy”

Tag: CopywritingStan @ 12:38 pm

My friends Tony Flores and Clayton Makepeace published a controversial 23-page report that shows you – among other things – how Clayton generated $22.3 million for a client in just six short weeks.

You can get a copy of the report Here.

(This was just PART of the $60 million the client made from a 150,000 name list.)

And the crazy thing is, Clayton is NOT an Internet guru.

In fact, he’s a “biker dude” who didn’t even bother messing with PPC, SEO or anything of that stuff.

SO HOW DID HE DO IT?

Well, before you get too excited I should tell you that Clayton didn’t personally make $22.3 million. His cut was 10% — so he “only” made a little over $2 million in those six weeks.

But that’s not what’s causing the controversy.

What’s creating the stir is how “non-technical” this secret is. Almost anyone can start using it
quickly. With just a few simple steps.

The Great Copywriting Conspiracy

BUT HERE’S WHERE IT GETS A LITTLE CRAZY:

OK – in this report, they also reveal a cool way that YOU might be able to double or triple your personal Internet income, WITHOUT driving any more traffic to your site.

And they show you how by using some funny “stick figure” drawings (I didn’t believe this until I saw it myself):

Besides the drawings, what surprised me was …

1. That $22.3 million was made in a really tough niche with dozens of super well-funded competitors …

2. The market was actually “falling apart” and everyone was scared to spend money …

3. And they raked in all that cash without search engines or even a really huge list …

Anyway, I could go on and on. But the report reveals all.

Clayton Makepeace spent the last 35 years creating direct mail, Internet and print promotions that have sold well over $1 billion-worth of information products for successful information publishers like Boardroom, Phillips Publishing, Motley Fool, Agora Publishing, Weiss Research and many more.

Plus, as a direct marketing consultant, Clayton helped four major direct marketing firms at least quadruple sales and profits to well over $100 million per year each.

According to the American Writers and Artists Institute, Clayton Makepeace is America’s highest-paid marketing coach and copywriter, with royalty income of up to $3 million per year since 1997.

But, do you know…

…Back in 1968, Clayton was a high school dropout earning $1.40 an hour!

He’s still a high school dropout, but now he earns well over 1,000 times more.

Want to know how he did it?

He worked his butt to the bone, that’s how. He learned every blessed thing he could about his craft … endured humiliation and rejection … and slaved over a hot keyboard for 40, 60, even 80 hours a week to write the best sales copy he was capable of.

And the effort paid off in spades. He created explosive growth in every company he touched - tripling revenues … quadrupling customer files … and making his ecstatic clients rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Yes, there’s some work involved if you want to make it BIG as a copywriter. But there’s a secret ingredient you can add to the mix to make your ride to the top faster and more fun than you ever dreamed possible.

Perhaps, you’ll like to check out the following websites for more information:
