Some people have tried Internet marketing and never made a dime, or maybe, made just enough to buy a cup of coffee at Starbuck’s. So they assume it’s all a scam!
Yes, there are scams all over the Internet…
I’ve been in business and on the Internet long enough to know that there are tons of scams
out here. Heck, everyday I get some crazy “get rich quick” hype emails from someone!
Sure, I know and WE know what is a scam and why it won’t work, but 95% of new Internet entrepreneurs do NOT know this!
YET there are also just as many honest and legitimate GOLDEN opportunities online if you care to research carefully!
Some people are afraid to try, because they don’t know much about computers, or they think you have to be some kind of computer techies (fact is, you don’t have to be).
And there are people just can’t get around to face their fears and live their dreams…Fear is what keeps us where we feel safe - and what dooms us to mediocrity.
"Fear is met and destroyed with courage" - James F. Bell
It keeps us from trying bold new things - Things that break the rules … things that have the potential to create breakthroughs and make us richer than Midas.
Whatever the reason, most people either don’t even try, or they try and give up. That keeps them stuck in the rat race for the rest of their natural lives.
I escaped. And I’m making sufficient money on the Internet to live a comfortable life.
So... If I can do it, You CAN do it too!
Internet Marketing Is Not Rocket Science…
All it takes to be successful in Internet marketing is "Persistence"…
"Nothing in this world can take the place of Persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not;
the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
– Calvin Coolidge

What are Internet Marketing Business Opportunities?
Internet marketing business opportunities, in the simplest terms, are packaged business investments that allow people to begin a business online or over the Internet.
For example, starting a store at eBay online marketplace is an Internet marketing business opportunity.
Joining an affiliate program such as Amazon.com is another type of internet business which is also known as Affiliate Marketing.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing has quickly become one of the most popular and the most effective ways to make money on the Internet. The premise of affiliate marketing is very simple. In a nutshell, Affiliate Marketing is an arrangement between an online merchant and affiliate, in which the affiliate earns a commission for generating sales, leads and/or clicks for the merchant’s website.
In other words, Affiliate marketing is a web-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts.
For example, a company, let’s say eBay, goes to another web site and asks them to place a banner or link to eBay on their site. Every time a user clicks on that eBay banner and visits the site, the owner of the original site gets a commission. It is as simple as that.
The history of affiliate marketing goes back to approximately 1994 with the trailblazing music website www.CDNow.com. They were, as far as most people know, the first site to pay other sites for directing Internet traffic to them. Internet giant Amazon.com soon caught on and became the site most associated with affiliate marketing. Today, the practice of affiliate marketing is used by essentially every major web site in the world.
One of the reasons that affiliate marketing has proven to be so popular is that it is
completely based on performance. In most cases, the company doing the advertising
doesn’t pay a single penny to the site that is carrying their ad unless there is evidence that Internet traffic has been driven to the advertising site. There are, however, other ways of doing affiliate marketing as well.
According to one report, total sales generated through affiliate networks in 2006 was
£2.16 billion in the UK alone. MarketingSherpa’s research team estimated that, in 2006, affiliates worldwide earned $6.5 billion in bounty and commissions from a variety of sources in retail, personal finance, gaming and gambling, travel, telecom, education, publishing and forms of lead generation other than contextual ad networks such as Google AdSense.
In a matter of only a few years, affiliate marketing has become one of the most popular form of home-based internet business.
This is just a very brief description of Affiliate Marketing. You can visit Wikipedia for more detailed information.
What is an Affiliate Program?
An affiliate program is basically a referral service, and affiliates act as lead generators.
Affiliates promote other people’s products on their websites and get a commission for every sale they’re responsible for.
This is a very easy business to get started in because it requires nothing more than setting up a website. People keen to get started on their own Internet businesses often learn the ropes by joining other businesses’ online affiliate programs.
Most affiliate programs are either:
Single Tier (one tier) affiliate program you get a commission for each
product sale you refer directly, or Two Tier affiliate program you also
promote the company’s affiliate program. Anyone who joins because of your referral becomes your “sub-affiliate.” You then get a commission for every sale that sub-affiliate makes, too.
Factors to consider when joining an Affiliate Program:
1. Generous commission. At first glance, a program that pays out a high percentage for each sale referred might seem good. But you also need to consider the dollar amount you will get paid for each sale. A low commission on a higher-priced product can net you more than a high commission on a lower-priced product.
2. Another thing to consider is volume. Is the product something that will sell like hotcakes or molasses? A top-paying affiliate program will feature products you can sell in high volumes while earning a nice percentage of the sale.
3. One-tier versus two-tier programs.
4. Residual income commissions. Affiliate programs that offer renewable products often offer “residual income” commissions. That means that you receive a commission every time a customer you’ve referred comes back to purchase more of the same product — rather than just earning a commission on the initial sale. This can really add up over the long haul.
5. Payout schedule. Many affiliate programs will only cut a check once you have earned a set amount of money. And if that amount is very high, you may not get paid for several months! If you’re not comfortable with that, look for programs that will pay you monthly regardless of how much you’ve earned.
6. Time credited for the sale. Not all customers will immediately buy something you’ve referred. So to make sure that YOU get credited for all sales you refer, look for programs that use “cookie” tracking.
Cookies are just small files with your affiliate ID# that sit on your visitors’ computers. When that customer returns to purchase a product, your affiliate ID makes sure you’re credited for the sale.
The length of time cookies last for varies from program to program, so look for programs that offer long cookie-tracking periods.
